Two years ago John Anton decided to take a year off. Last year he returned to control the Don left wing along with Fedje. Now a senior, Anton is expected to use his outstanding ball control and superior speed to add dimension to the offensive attack. Rounding out the group of returning forwards are Jim Boyle and Tilahun Weldearegai. Both are seniors and provide and extra plus to the Don attack, Weldearegai providing speed, and Boyle providing the leadership the Dons need.

USF 3 Golden West College 0. This contest was a very hard game played with conviction by both clubs with a zero-zero score at the half. On return to the field, the Dons turned on the pressure to score three goals, one each by Dag Olavsen, Rafael Miranda and Tony Gray. However, the score could easily have been doubled as the Dons had three goals disallowed. All three were scored by Tilahun Weldearegai (TheFoghorn).
