Rounding out the captain squad is a top WCC newcomer from last year, 5' 8" Jodi Princeton. Said Coach Wallenstein: "Jodi is a very explosive, dynamic, and quick player who brings you the complete package in both the front and back row. We are looking for Jodi to be a great leader for us."
Others to watch: Senior Alyson Redman providing depth as one of the squad's most talented defensive players; Kristen Kofoed, a transfer this season from Morningside College, will be reunited with former high school teammate Dunlap, and will give the team lots of versatility at hitter; Megan Morse, one of only two players to appear in every match a year ago, has come on strong in pre-season practices and will likely get substantial playing time. Look for key minutes from Molly Downing, Karla Eriksen, and Freshman Chiara Lawrence as they battle it out to fill that void in the middle. Sophomore Sara McCandless will return to run the show at the setter position. The 5-10 lefty earned a spot on the WCC's All-Freshman team in '92 (TheFoghorn).
