Don rifiemen, anticipating a great season, began hitting the bullseye early in the year. A core of Veterans with two or more years experience are returning and they hope to make this a record setting year. At the time of this printing, the team had a 3-2 record against stiff competition and both Sergeant Gracia, team coach, and Capt, Charles Lake, Moderator, feel that a trophy is virtually assured.

Varsity shooters led by Tim Sullivan and Bill Sturm are receiving strong support from the new sophomores already this season. In early matches this year several had qualified with the returning lettermen from last year's varsity. The driving force behind any good team is its coach. Sergeant Roman De Gracia has unselfishly devoted many hours to the improvement ot the team at USF. Sarge is in his last year on the Hilltop and the excellent team he has molded should certainly make it a memorable one (TheDon).
