At 5' 7", Alexandra Jurasin played guard for the Dons for three seasons. She graduated in 1994 with a Degree in Exercise Physiology. She earned  a Master's in Kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton, and is currently a Vice President at Plus One Health Management.
Martin blocked shots in the lane by both Touli and Grubbs with under 20 seconds remaining before Adkins grabbed the loose ball and drove the lane, dishing to her left to junior Alexandra Jurasin, who lofted a shot over the charging Cal defense but failed on what was USF's third chance to tie the game in the final seconds.
Tami Adkins of the Dons, never squandered the lead they worked so hard to attain. Junior Wendy Jo Phelps came through yet again for the Dons, this time with 18 points, highlighted by 2-5 three-pointers and 5-6 free throws. Alexandra Jurasin puled down a team-high eight rebounds, four off the offensive glass, in just 17 minutes of play. Donna Spragan hit for just four points, but her two baseline buckets came down the dedicated to the "Golden Guards," Adkins and Touli (TheFoghorn).
