Dan Ferrando attended USF from 1986 to 1988, and played for coaching legend Steve Negoesco, at the University of San Francisco from 1986 to 1988.

Dan Ferrando, a Marin County native, founded Next Step Soccer Academy in Northern California, and has been coaching and running this business for 18 years. As a young child, he spent his summers in Germany, learning the game from his grandfather. Dan played for SV Miesenbach 1919, a championship German youth team.
