Bill Carr is an American former basketball coach who recently was the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Santa Clara University. He currently serves as General Manager for the University of California, San Diego men's and women's basketball programs. He began his coaching career at the University of San Francisco as an Assistant Coach, had head coaching stints at Spring Hill College, Long Beach State (Associate), UC San Diego, San Diego State and and at Point Loma Nazarene University, and also. Prior to Santa Clara, Carr had spent the entirety of his career coaching men's basketball.

He played basketball from 1983 to 1985 at Glendale City College, and then for the Dons from 1985-1987 and became an Assistant Coach in 1992.
