Career Highlights: 
Three-time letter winner for Men's Soccer; Davies Scholar Award winner.

Biography: Butner was on the men's soccer team fore three years under head coaches Steve Negoesco and Erik Visser. He was a backup goalie, and earned his Masters Degree in Computer Science while at USF. 

Why Butner Chose USF: “I chose USF due to the great athletics and academics in a small school in a great city."

Favorite USF Memories: “Top memories were my great teammates, and especially the entertaining and talented Norwegians. Visiting the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center to play the USMNT U-20's was a highlight.”

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: “I made great friendships from across all the athletic teams. USF provided a great structure to be successful as a student-athlete."

Life After USF: Butner is currently CTO at Stride Health and has led Analytics teams at R/GA, BSSP, and McCann. He has built personalized consumer search experiences for Netflix, PRICELINE, and MINI Cooper as well as consumer health experiences for Take Care Health, Destination Rx and Stanford Hospital. San Francisco is still home for Butner. His hobbies include vintage baseball and keeping up with his kid.
