Len Karp was born on October 12, 1926 and played first baseman and outfielder for the Dons from 1951 to 1952. He batted and threw left handed and was 6', 190 lbs. The 1952 yearbook described Karp as one of the members of the backbone of the team along with left handed hitting array of freshman Joe Arenivar, John Olcese, Eddy Rommell, LarilKarp, and Gene Jacoba.
