Career Highlights: Two-year letter winner for Women's Tennis; Finalist Dean's Medal Arts and Sciences; Dean's List eight semesters

Biography: Romero played tennis for two years on the Hilltop from 1986-1987. Following her graduation Romero became a board certified Family Medicine Physician practicing in California. 

Why Romero Chose USF: " I wanted to attend college in San Francisco, and I wanted to attend a university that would provide me with a strong Jesuit education."

Favorite USF Memories: "I enjoyed great matches with my teammates and playing in the WCAC tournament at Pepperdine University."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "Being a student-athlete on the Hilltop provided the best of both worlds, and a wonderful break from academics."

Life After USF:  After graduation from USF, Romero became a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician practicing in Southern California. She enjoys tennis, hiking, and photography.
