Bill De Funiak was a native of Oxnard, CA and was 5' 10", 170 lbs. He graduated in Mathematics. 

Outstanding for the Hilltoppers on defense were backs Tony Clark Jerry Finnigan and Ed Griffin; up front the Dons were sparked by Joe Shea, Jim MacDonald, Bill Ferrero, Bob Roemer, Bill DeFuniak and tackle Rene Bourdet, who fractured his arm and will be out for the year (The Foghorn).
