A warm welcome to all the new students and to returning students. Hi, I am Abidine Djimbira and I am a senior with a Global Management major and an advanced certificate in Japanese Language and Culture, a certificate in Asian-Pacific studies and in German. I was born in Senegal, West Africa, where 1 lived until age 7, then moved to France where I went to school.

I've been involved with the International Sudents Association since 1993, and have occupied various functions with the Undergraduate business Association and the Japan Club. I wish to become a Senator for the I.S.A .because I believe I can represent the interests of the international student community at USF. International students at US represent about 12 percent of total enrollment, therefore I feel that they should be well represented on campus. I am running for this office because I feel that I can be of assistance to the international student community. I seek the approval from all the undergraduate international students at USF and request you to elect me to this office in the upcoming ASUSF senate elections on campus (USFFoghorn).
