A native of San Francisco, Mark Golden graduated in English in 1942. He was a member of the St. Ives Society, the Circle Block Club, Scabbard and Blade, Kappa Lambda Sigma, Pi Delta Pi, and was on the Board of Student Council. He was a Second Lieutenant in the Coast Artillery Reserve. The Golden family established a scholarship at USF to be awarded to a student with an interest in soccer and the arts and sciences in his honor.
