A native of San Francisco, Mark Golden graduated in English in 1942. He was a member of St. Ives, Circle block, Scabbard and Blade, Kappa Lambda Sigma, Pi Delta Pi, and on the Board of Student Council. He was a Second Lieutenant in the Coast Artillery Reserve.
