Pete Palma played catcher for the Dons baseball team for the 1958 season.
Coach Anderson will have all of last season's varsity players with the exception of Bob Braghetta, Bud Tanner, Leo La Rocca, and Bill Arata, all graduating seniors. Dutch will field a team consisting of Jack Scramaglia at second base, Chick Walgren in the outer gardens, Fred Kara doubling as pitcher and outfielder, Ray Williamson at first and also in the outfield, Eli Asonovich at first, Al Kirkes as short, Pete Palma behind the plate, Tony Basques at third, John O'Neil and Ron Giordinais doing the hurling, and Bill Cutler as utility (TheFoghorn).
