    1983
  • Honors
    Volleyball (1979-1982)
Mary Feeley studied Media Arts at USF and graduated in 1983. She played volleyball for the Dons from 1979 to 1982. She attended Saint Rose Academy, and currently works for the Athletic Department at USF.

The team consists of (in numerical order) Laura Bertani, Rachel DuLay, Kathy Shindler, Mary Teachenor, Jenni Boron, Mary Feeley, Toni Ray, Kathy Horan, Brenda Vizzard, Lisa Baptista, Captain Kelly Fey, and Tracy Harrison, with Marty Kennedy as Coach and Liz Sloan as Assistant Coach. This magnificent team is able to work together as a whole. "Marty is a good coach," says Mary Feeley. "She's good for our needs. We're not going to the nationals, and that's it, but we can beat last year's record and Marty is the one who will help us do it."

One of the most consistent all-around players has been Marianne Curtis. She rarely makes errors and is very solid in all aspects of the game. Then there's defensive specialist, Mary Feeley. She wasted all of last season sitting on the bench, but Marty Kennedy immediately recognized her talents. Mary turned out to be the best defensive player on the team and was a starter all season (TheFoghorn).
