The last match fired by the Rifle Team on February 26, against the Pacific Rod and Gun Club was lost to tho Rod and Gun Club, by thc meager score of 913 to 860. "This shows the great improvement of team," said Sgt. Quinby, "in firing against such veterans as these men from tne Rod and Gun Club." Great improvement has been shown by Cadets Campilongo, Mansinne, Hoffmeier, Moon and others on the team. The new arrivals on the team have already shown great promise, and with a little time and practice will develop into fine marksmen, according to Sgt. Quinby. The match fired against tho U.S. Marine Corps was considered a great success by the visiting Dons who were treated in cordial Marine spirit (TheFoghorn).
