Leading the way as a probable starter at small forward is 5-10 junior Jenny Mahistedt, one of the team's better defensive players.

The highlights of the women's pre-conference slate were wins over Middle Tennessee State (70-54) to capture the USF Classic, and San Jose State (74-63), and Sacramento State (71-50). The Sacramento game was the Dons final pre-conference match, and they received a huge boost from sophomore Jenny Mahlstedt who came off the bench to pour in a career-high 12 points.

"Jen came on strong for us defensively at the end of last season but now we are going to need her 10 score more as well," says Mary. "She needs to keep developing her outside game but is overall a very good team player and will complement any combination we put on the floor (TheFoghorn)."
