The 1951 USF Rifle Team tied for first in the NCIC Rifle Conference, walked away with the "D League Title of the San Francisco Rifle Association, and copped the Sixth Army Are competition for the third consecutive year.

Two men, Tony Sherman and George Michael averaged better than 280 for the season, to merit All America recognition (TheDon).

A native of Buffalo, NY, Michael was a member of the Math Club, the Bio-Chem Club, and the Glee Club. He graduated in 1952 in Physics.
