One of six senior pitchers on the USF staff...probable #3 and #4 starter...also should be used in long relief...will be relied on for quality innings...a control pitcher that needs to get ahead in the count...has a quick delivery to the plate...one of the most experienced USF pitchers...has been most effective on the road in warmer locales.

AS A JUNIOR: Pitched 21 games, starting three...went 1-3 over 47 innings...posted 26 strikeouts and 31 walked while allowing 71 hits, 31 runs, 2 home runs and a 7.17 ERA... came on in relief to pitch Dons to 11-5 win at Sacramento State.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Pitched in 12 games, starting against Nevada-Reno and Pepperdine...went 1-2 over 22 1/3 innings...posted 7 strikeouts and 14 walks while allowing 26 hits, 19 runs, 1 home run and a 6.85 ERA...won his USF debut in a relief stint against Cal State Hayward.

AT DEANZA JC: Pitched a 7 2/3 inning no hitter against Gavilan JC before going on to pitch a one-hitter and 5-0 victory...Second Team All-League.

PREP AND PERSONAL: A three-sport athlete at Salesian High School...First Team All-League in baseball as a senior and second team all-league as a junior...posted a 5-0 record as a senior, with an 0.81 ERA...also played football and basketball at Salesian...nicknamed "Ardo"...father, Ronald Sr., played baseball at the University of Santa Clara...cousins, Nick and Leo LaRocca, played baseball at USF...uncle, Don Ardissone, played basketball for San Francisco State...born on March 15, 1968 in Richmond, CA...full name is Ronald John Ardissone Jr...a Finance major interested in Business Law.
