Moving into the deciding game, the Dons were lead in their offense by setter Margaret Hillhouse, who also played her finest defensive match of the year, with 21 digs. Margaret Hillhouse led the team in assists averaging 8.7 per game, and service aces she recorded 40 for the year.Â
Coach Corbelli says that USF will have to work on defending Tee Williams, who last year was voted the top player in the country. "They are going to be banging some balls against us, we hope we can dig them, and get some transition going." Corbelli adds that both Kathy Hold and Margaret Hillhouse have been doing a great job setting the ball, and Ann Podesta has also played well for the Dons. She also adds that junior Margaret Hillhouse is a talented setter and she does a good job of running the offense (TheFoghorn).
