For their first appearance the Donlets performed sensationally. The line, composed of stalwarts Burtner, Kynoch, Simmons, De Grazia, Rocha, Van Der Linden and Smith, was invincible and Kleckner seems to have found the right back-field combination in Crombi at quarter, Francheschi, Maloney and Cima at halves, and hard-driving Chall Warford at full (TheFoghorn).
