Biography: Clements came to the Dons from Canada and played baseball for the Dons. His senior year he made 2nd Team All-WCC while batting .338 with 54 runs and 24 RBIs under Head Coach Nino Giarratano. He also hit the walk off three-run home run in the bottom of the 8th that upset the second-ranked Pepperdine University. He excelled in the classroom as well, majoring in Communications and earning a spot on the President’s Honor Roll with a 3.75 GPA. Clements continued baseball post-Hilltop in a two year stint playing Independent Professional Baseball. He hit a career .261 average for the Evansville Otters and Dubois County Dragons of the Frontier League.

Why Clements Chose USF: "I love the city of San Francisco and they gave me a chance to play."

Favorite USF Memories: "I am very fond of my time at USF, especially playing for first year Head Coach Nino Giarratano in 1998 and in 1999. I still keep in touch with some of my old teammates including Tag Bozied and Jeff Pritchard."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "I enjoyed traveling as a team, competing, and figuring out how to be successful at the Division I level (the hardest level to play at)."

Did You Know?: Clements met current Associate Head Coach Troy Nakamura by chance while playing baseball in Wisconsin. Clements hit a double and slid into second head first, and Nakamura, who was playing second base for the opposing team, jumped to catch the ball and landed on Andrew’s head and shoulders. Only after both players made sure they were okay did they come to the realization that they would be teammates that following year on the Hilltop.

Life After USF: Clements kept athletics a major part of his life. He worked in a recreational setting, organizing programs for a local municipality, as well as teaching and coaching the mental game.
