Career Highlights:
Four-time letter winner for Volleyball 1982 Class Valedictorian

Biography: Mogavaro was a four-time letter winner for the Dons volleyball team. She received a full scholarship in 1978 and was the first female valedictorian in USF history. She earned a PhD in Psychology at California School of organizational Psychology in Los Angeles.

Why Mogavero Chose USF: “USF was especially attentive to its female athletes in order to ensure that we created a balance with our scholastic priorities.”

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: “For me, being a student-athlete required creating a discipline for balancing my schedule: practices, games, attending class, and doing homework.”

Life After USF: After graduating from USF, Mogavero earned two Master’s of Science degrees and a Doctorate in Organizational Psychology. Her career has included working in numerous industries both domestically and globally. She now works as the Senior Director, Learning & Organization Effectiveness at University of California, San Diego - Health.
