On the weekend of March 26th and 27th the University of Reno Nevada traveled to the Hilltop where the Dons bounced back to win 3-2. On Saturday the Dons held on to a 9-8 victory. Terry McManus had his best outing of the year throwing 8 strong innings. Trailing 6-8 going into the bottom of the 8th Tim Fitzpatrick hit a 2 run home run to tie it, and Greg Miles hit a solo home run in the 9th to give the Dons the victory.
But despite the brilliant pitching from Nat, it appeared that he would again lose to hard luck when the Dons went into the top of the 9th trailing 2-1. But Miles changed all that in a hurry when he hit a dramatic grandslam home run to give the Dons a come from behind 5- 2 victory (TheFoghorn).
