An interesting sidelight of this game is that between the two teams there will be eleven players who played together in high school. All went to Riordan, here in the City. The Dons have Dennis DiRicco, Mike Bracco, Ken Pitetti, Rick Figone, Bud Foster, Jerry Nolan and Les Mirkovich, while the Gaels have Jim Hudson, John Wells, Don Hensic, and Ralph Fonseca. However, it is doubtul if they will act as if they are at a high school reunion during the contest. After all, there is no better satisfaction than beating your friends at something, especially a football game (TheFoghorn).
