Guy Bernard Williams was born in Los Angeles on born July 1, 1960 and attended Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland. He played basketball at USF from 1978 to 1980 before transferring to Washington State. He played forward for the Washington Bullets and the Golden State Warriors. From 1986 to 1991, he played internationally (Wikipedia).
