The weak link for the Dons is its pitching. Augie Acuna, Travis Walters, Chad Baldwin and Tim Dilullo will make up the basis for the pitching staff, all of which are right-handers. Acuna and Dilullo are the veterans and the only ones on the pitching staff that threw for more than 25 innings. Walters and Baldwin have JC experience with some promising numbers. Several new players will be added to strengthen the bullpen. Sophomore Dan Safranek and junior William Jones have JC experience while freshman Mark Blake and junior John Brown—a transfer from UC Davis— could be called upon for some middle relief (TheFoghorn).
