The Dons continued their dominance over the rest of the West Coast Athletic Conference as Head Coach Head Dick Nicolopulos led USF to its fifth conference title in seven years.

The WCAC championship was held at West Delta Championship Golf Club in Portland, Oregon. The Dons won the team competition with a combined score of 899. USF’s Mike Fabian won the WCC individual title with a score of 2 over par, 218 for the three day event.

"We're playing better golf than any USF team I've coached." said Nicolopulos. "But we've competed against 20 of the top 30 teams in the nation and we just haven't been consistent enough against that caliber of opposition. Among the individual Dons, Mike Fabian shot a 71-77-77-225 to finish in a tie for 51 st among 135 golfers in the Hawaiian Tournament; Ted Anderson's 82-71-69- 222 placed him in a tie for 53 out of 114 in the Pepsi Classic; Brad Morrell shot a 73-74-79 to gain a tie for 38th out of 108 entrants at the U.S. Intercollegiate; and Chris Williams hit a 78-71-79-230. good for a tie for 27th out of 49 at the Western Intercollegiate (TheFoghorn).
