Wayne McClintock was a native of Ukiah, and attended his local Ukiah High School. He played for the University of San Francisco, and graduated 1997. He played professionally from 1997 to 2000 on mini-tours around U.S. with sporadic success. He was recently was given Amateur Status and served a two-year penalty. He is Vice President of the Wealth Preservation & Legacy Planning Firm with offices in Ukiah and Palo Alto, CA and excited about playing some amateur golf again (AmateurGolf).

USF men's golf team finished a strong second behind Pepperdine at the West Coast Conference golf championship, held at the Fort Ord Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside, California. The Dons had led Pepperdine by three shots going into the third (and final) round, but the Waves out-shot USF by a 299-311 margin over those 18 holes to win their fourth WCC ride in the last five years by a final score of 917-932. Josh Levin, whose score of 233 in the tournament tied him with teammate Cario Ligorri and two other golfers for seventh individually, was named to the eight-man All- Conference team, along with Parlato. In addition, Wayne McClintock fired a 235 for the Dons, good for 13th overall, followed in 16th place by Eric Hallgrimson's 241. Pepperdine sophomore Kevin Marsh's 4-over 220 won the individual ride, defeating Portland's Brian Cratsenberg by just six strokes. Cody Barden, Pepperdine's rookie head coach, was named Coach of the Year (TheFoghorn).
