Larry Loomis played baseball for the Dons and graduated in Physical Education in 1986.
The Dons suffered four straight defeats at the hands of St. Mary's. According to Coach Ken Bowman, "It was a tragedy, we should have won at least two. By and large we left the bases loaded four times with no outs. Only once did we score in that situation." He added. "We hit the ball, but the hits were just not timely." Those four losses were disappointing, close and tight. Sunday's pitcher of record Larry Loomis commented, "I thought I pitched a great game, it was just one bad pitch and see ya (TheFoghorn)."
