Ryan Rutherford was a 6' 4" guard from Sunnyvale who played for Homestead High School. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 1998. He was in Campus Ministries in 1994, played basketball from 1995 to 1997, and rugby from 1997 to 1998. He was in listed in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities in 1998. He is currently a Regional Director for Merz Aesthetics in Southern California.
The first of these two slots has already been filled by Ryan Rutherford, a 6' 4" 190 pound sophomore-to-be out of Homestead High School in Sunnyvale (CA). "[Ryan] has been playing with our guys (in pick-up games)," said Brovelli. "The guys like him. He's an athletic guy, he's strong, he's an off-guard. Shoots the ball pretty well." Rutherford is excited about being able to play some basketball with top-notch competition. "At first I was super-nervous and everything," he said, "but after that it's been really comfortable."
Michael Colter have also shown rhe ability to run the offense with Colter also demonstrating that he can play at off-guard as well. Round this out with sharp shooting M.J. Nodilo and walk on Ryan Rutherford and USF has the makings of its perennially strong back court (TheFoghorn).
