Bill Cutler played baseball and football for the Dons. He was a member of Scabbard and Blade, the Block Club, St. Ives Society, Special Events Committee, and Senior Ball Committee. He graduated in English.

Sarge MacKenzie's Dons came to life late in the fourth quarter on powerful runs made by Jerry Finnigan, John McCauley, and Ed Griffin. The Dons racked up their only tally, of the, afternoon as end Bill Cutler gathered in Ed Griffin's pass from the five as the game ended.
Coach Dutch Anderson,, starting his sixth season as Head baseball Coach, greeted fifteen hopefuls Wednesday for the Dons coming season. Returning veterans Ray Williamson, Bernie Wend, Chick Walbien, John O'Neil, Corky Chapman, and Bill Cutler were on hand (TheFoghorn).
