The sensation of the frosh team this year has been the playing of Hinch at end. Hinch is from Nevada and is quite a basketball player. He has demonstrated that he is some pumpkins as a football player as well. In every game this year, he has been outstanding. If the opposing teams had to gain their yardage around his end they would stay in one spot all day. Hinch's teammate, Mervin Gallagher, has been holding down one of the halfback posts quite satisfactorily. Gallagher is also some pumpkins as a basketball player, having been picked on All-State teams in Nevada for two years. Jackson, California, has one contributor to the freshman roster in Babe Mohorivich. Babe plays quarterback and is quite a heady leader. Babe's brother plays for the University of Nevada (TheFoghorn).
