Ray Gennette and Don Lyon will account for any shortage at the tackle positions, although some will give them a battle for the starting spots. Among these are Doug Ashton and two outstanding linemen from the class of '45. The fact that many of the players are also on the basketball team, has made a complete turnout impossible, but with three more weeks of practice, the students can look forward to one of the best "Green und Gold" games in many years (TheFoghorn).
