GENERAL CAPSULE - Looks to return to the lineup healthy after a season-ending knee injury before the 2000 season.

2000 SEASON - Missed entire season with a knee injury.

1999 SEASON - Saw action in one match.

PREP CAREER - Named her club's Most Inspirational Player and served as team captain for three years at Christian Brothers High School...named to All-Metro team as a senior and also won team MVP honors...also played basketball and ran cross country... graduated in 1999.

PERSONAL - Sarah Christine Slakey... hobbies include community service projects and playing piano... biggest sports thrill was scoring her first soccer goal... my goals for this season are to make the team, improve my game and receive some playing time... the best advice I could give to youngsters is that working hard pays off... I chose USF in part because I really liked the coaching method, the people I met were very friendly and the campus is beautiful with nice facilities... cousin, Geo Carmazzi, played for the San Francisco 49ers... parents are Bob and Robyn Slakey... born June 7, 1981.
