George Ososke was a native of San Mateo, a member of the Letter Society, the College Players, Skull and Sledge, the Block Club, and was President of the ASUSF. He graduated in 1932 in Liberal Arts. For 13 years, George was Chief Probation Officer of the S.F. Juvenile Court. Subsequently, be became vice president of the U.S. Brewers Association, retiring in 1989. George was a long time member of the Olympic Club and the World Trade Club (SFGate).

Climaxing one of the most bitterly fought elections in the history of the Gray Fog student body, George Ososke was elected president after a coup in which the strength represented by the bloc, led by the Sigma Kaps, was swung to him to give him an overwhelming victory over John O'Dea. The primaries held last Friday showed Ososke running well ahead of O'Dea with Mervin Houser third. In the finals on Monday Ososke easily triumphed. Ososke, new commander of the University of San Francisco Associated Students, is a junior in the college of liberal arts, a star tackle on the football eleven and prominent in campus theatrical productions. The feat by which the new president won his victory brought out the unsuspected strength of the so-called Houser bloc and thrust a huge wedge into what was termed "the straight fraternity ticket (TheFoghorn)."

Many of the long runs by Donadio and Kleckner were due to the excellent interference running of Jack Happe at guard. Ososke and Higuera kept the Wolves well controlled with their fine tackling (TheDon).
