Top incoming freshmen include Bob Marquez of South San Francisco's El Camino High, Terra Nova's Mark Johnson, Ricky Doran from El Camino, and Delano Scott from Sacramento's Grant High School. Marquez, who tossed a no-hitter for Central Coast Section champion El Camino, and Scott will fortify the pitching corps. Johnson will offer some competition for the catcher's position and Doran will vie for the second base job for the Dons (TheFoghorn).
