Grudge Bout Set For President's Day Boxing Show Last minute agreements and matchmaking were in order today as President's Day boxers began tapering off in their workouts for the annual glove tournament next' Wednesday, April 30. Many contestants have not as yet been matched but arrangements should be completed today. Outstanding among these are: Jimmy O'Brien, Joe Castillio, Ken Tichenor, George O'Connor, Gardner Smith, and Val Marchi. It is not too laie sign for the tournament.
There are only four seniors on the squad this year—Doug Stinson, John Sullivan, Rico Bianchi and Glen Wunderling. . . . Joe "Tin Lizzy" DiGrazia owns and operates his own speedway in Santa Rosa when football doesn't occupy his time. . . .
