Gilmore finished rhe game with zero points and one big gaff, while Walker ended up with a more palatable 19 points and moved into fifth place on the all-time NCAA career steals list (330), one better than Greg Anthony. Former Golden State Warrior Keith "Mister" Jennings is next on the list with 334. Other Dons scorers in double digits were Booker T Washington (15), who did a great job fronting off Horton in the clutch, the slumping John Duggan (11) and freshman Jason Johnson (10), whose recent surge in confidence has translated into more success on the court. Mark Nees made a big impact defensively for USF. Gael David Sivulich, the 5-10 guard who entered the game third in the league in scoring, finished with 16 points, although he continued to struggle from three-point range (3-22 in two games against USF) (TheFoghorn).
