Roy Burkhead

On next year's varsity will be several pitchers of no mean ability. Returning veterans will be Roy Burkhead, Nat Calegari and John Pintar (TheFoghorn).

Roy Burkhead, who shared the center spot with Passanisi quite capably, has sprinted out of the huddle for the last time. Roy was always best in the hardest games and his performance against Stanford a few years back will always be remembered (TheFoghorn).

Burkhead was know as the football crooner, since he sang for the college musical events.  He was a member of the Letter Society and graduated in 1937.
