Raji Ananda studied at USF and played soccer for the Dons. He is currently self employed as an electrician.

USF took the lead early on, with a goal by sophomore midfielder and team captain, Gabe Sturm. Sturm was able to score on a cross from right midfielder, Raji Ananda, in the eighth minute of the first half. Ananda led much of the attack for USF down the right sideline, and created several chances throughout the match with various runs and crosses. Unfortunately, the USF lead was short lived, because the Golden Bears equalized the game at the 12:50 mark in the first half.

"Our score was good for our team morale," said midfielder Raji Ananda. "We proved our ability to score goals." Negoesco thought the team gave a good performance. "We gave everyone on the team a chance to play. They did good." One of the players that fans had not seen in a while was Ananda, who attributed the Dons performance to the hard work of his teammates. "With each other's help we did good out on the field. It felt like we were a unit," said Ananda (TheFoghorn).
