Sandy Draghi may have finished second in a race around the world - The Amazing Race -, Season 19, but for her, it all started in Livermore. She was born at Valley Memorial Hospital in Livermore, CA, and  attended Sunset Elementary and Mendenhall Middle School, and graduated from Granada High School in 1995. Sandy played goalie on Granada's varsity soccer team all four years of high school and attended the University of San Francisco on a soccer scholarship. She lists her education and playing on USF's Division 1 soccer team as her proudest accomplishments (IndependentNews).
She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry in 1999 and returned for a Masters in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification in 2005. She has been the owner of Sandy Cline Aesthetics in Danville, CA since 2024.
