Without the benefit of scholarships, or the direction of a full-time coach, a spirited and determined group of Dons represented USF on the golf links this year. Led by Captain Bob Johnson, the team scored an early season victory over St. Mary's. The number of defeats suffered by the golfers this year can be attributed only to the high caliber of their opponents and the relatively unequal basis on which they were forced to compete (TheDon).
