Baseball (1977-1981)

Allen Smoot graduated in 1981 from USF in Biology after two years at Cañada College. He played baseball as an infielder all four years. He was a recipient of the Dante Benedetti Award in 1981. He is now a Radiology and Cardiology Account Manager for Phillips Imaging Systems in the Bay Area.

Al Smoot continued to be the dominant figure in the USF offense as he collected 5 hits in as many trips, including another towering blast to left field for a home run— his fourth of the year (TheFoghorn).
