LMU rebounded in Sunday's second game of the double header, behind six innings of one-hit ball from Lion pitcher Swawn Hammet. LMU batsmen Anthony Napolitano and Andy Biaggi each recorded three RBI to down the Dons. The Lions took a comfortable 6-0 lead into the seventh inning in the night cap. USF charged back in the final inning, only to fall just short, 6-4. USF churned out four singles and a two-run double by Sophomore Justin Speier to cut the six-run deficit to two.
