AT UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA (2005-2006): Finished two year career as a Wildcat with a 2-1 record and a 5.56 ERA in 26 appearances (one start), one save,and 48 strikeouts in 52 innings pitched... during the 2005 Pac-10 season, led the team with 10 appearances, 2.38 ERA, 1-1 record, and 19 strikeouts in 22.2 innings pitched.
PREP CAREER: Played three years of varsity baseball at Deer Valley High School... in his junior season, had a 10-2 record with a 1.68 ERA and 95 strikeouts in 75 innings pitched... also was the North Coast winning pitcher at Oakland Coliseum.
