Biography: Cordeiro transferred to USF from Yavapai College, where he put up a batting average of .322 with three home runs and 27 RBIs as a sophomore. On the Hilltop, he appeared in 50 games with 29 starts as a junior, primarily in the outfield and at designated hitter. Cordeiro finished his first year with the Dons with four doubles, a home run, ten runs scored, nine RBIs and two stolen bases. During his senior season in 2019, he made 17 starts in 40 appearances playing all over for the Dons, including second base, third base, outfield and designated hitter, as an important veteran utility player. He was also key off the bench as a pinch hitter, batting .333 (5 for 15) with a double, four RBIs and four free passes (three walks, one hit-by-pitch). His on base percentage as a pinch hitter for the season was .421.Â
