Why Roufosse Chose USF: “I chose USF because of the coaches, the people, and the location. San Francisco is the best city in the world.”
Favorite USF Memories: “I came to USF in 2016, one of six freshman, recruited to play on the women's basketball team. Although, the accolades and notable championship we won in 2016 were highlights of my experience playing sports at USF. The relationships I made along the way are at the forefront of my memories when I look back at my time on the Hilltop. From the road trips, study hall, to spending time with my teammates exploring San Francisco on our off days. Those are memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. Trophies and rings are beautiful reminders of the athletic achievements, but eventually have taken a place on one of my cabinet shelves, sometime collecting dust when I forget to polish them. On the other hand, the relationships I made with my coaches and teammates along the way are things that continue to play a role in my life. Ultimately, I think this is a testament to the type of people USF attracts. Genuine, hard working, and intentional individuals. For that I am eternally grateful.”
The USF Student-Athlete Experience: “The community and relationships you develop along the way. are priceless. Being an alumni of USF provides you with a network that will benefit you if you chose to utilize it.”
