Career Highlights: Four-year letter winner for Cross Country and Track and Field 

Biography: Hobbs was a four-year letter winner for both the cross country team and track and field on the Hilltop. As a senior she ran in five races for the Dons, and set a career record of 22:11 at the Wisconsin Invitational. Hobbs finished seventh at the Doc Adams Invitational with a time of 22:19. Hobbs came to USF from St. Ignatius High School where she was named Most Improved in Cross Country (2006), and was named Outstanding Track Athlete for 2006. As a prep she earned WCAL All-League honors for 2006.

Why Hobbs Chose USF: "I am a native San Franciscan that fell in love with the school. I received a scholarship to run cross country and track and the choice was made."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "I loved the the community. I met my husband through the athletic department on the Hilltop."

Life After USF: Hobbs is married to Conor McElyea (USF Men's Golf 2007-2010).
