"Ryan's athleticism and competitive drive will give him a chance to compete for innings as a freshman," said Giarratano. "The Hilltop is a perfect place for a Ryan's development. He already has command of three pitches and the mindset to compete at a very high level. With its history of developing pitchers, USF is a great fit for Ryan. He's a super competitive kid with three pitch command and a high ceiling," said Boys of Summer Head Coach Kevin Ticen. "I'm excited for him to get down there and get after it in the weight room and go through a great throwing program and see him strive for that ceiling. He'll be a force in the WCC when he does (USFAthletics)."
After one seaon at USF, he transferred to Bellevue College, and earned a Bachelors at Washington State University.Â
