Biography: Love was a right-handed pitcher who played baseball for your years on the Hilltop. He closed out his USF career with a stellar senior campaign, finishing with a 1.53 ERA in 18 appearances and 17.2 innings pitched, allowing just 17 hits and three earned runs. He ranked second on the team with two saves and held the opposition to a .250 batting average against. In his junior season with the Dons, Love turned in a team-best 2.60 ERA of all Dons pitchers with at least 10 innings on the mound this season. He appeared in 20 games with one start, and pitched in eight outings of one or more innings where he didn’t allowed a hit. As a sophomore in 2010, Love made 13 appearances, started seven games and struck out 21 in 33 innings of work. In his debut season with USF in 2009, he finished 4-1, with a 3.66 ERA, and saw time on the mound in 24 games, with 11 starts.

Life After USF: After graduation, Love went to work as a tenant advisor for Cushman & Wakefield. He is currently a senior VP for Hughes Marino, an industry leading real estate firm.Â
